Some exciting new developments have transpired in the EDC’s Marketing and Communications department this summer.

Robin DiSalvo has joined the Tampa Hillsborough EDC team as our new Market Research Analyst. As part of the Marketing and Communications team, Robin generates a variety of research products for internal and external use, including demographic information and cost of living reports, economic impact analyses, and industry and workforce reports.  She also works closely with the Business Development team to assemble data for RFPs, RFIs and related collateral materials targeted to site selectors and C-suite executives.

Robin has spent the last 15 years of her career in research departments at Tampa print, broadcast, and online media companies, so she knows Tampa and Hillsborough County well. In her previous roles, she produced comprehensive competitive and consumer behavior analyses for sales and advertising divisions.

“Thanks to Robin’s extensive background in consumer research and her knowledge of this market, she was able to transfer her skills to an economic development environment quickly and effectively,” said Michelle Bauer, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the EDC. “In less than a month, she has already distinguished herself as a tremendous asset to our team, producing essential reports and analyses to assist our Business Development team with major recruiting initiatives. We are delighted to have her join us.”
