EDC promotes Steve Morey, adds new team member

The EDC has promoted Steve Morey to Senior Vice President, Business Development, overseeing all of the EDC’s business development efforts, both domestic and international. Morey has played a key part of the EDC’s success since he joined the team in 2013. We’re excited to have him take on this expanded leadership role.

The business development team will also have additional support for its growing international efforts come August 6. Madison Lawson, an experienced communications and research professional, will join the EDC team as the International Business Coordinator. Lawson has lived and studied in the UK and Peru, and most recently worked as a consultant for 180 Degrees Consulting in London. She received her bachelor’s degree in International and Cultural Studies from the University of Tampa and a master’s degree in Emerging Economies and International Development from King’s College London.
