EDC welcomes Anysia McDowall as VP of Investor Relations

On June 11, THEDC will welcome Anysia McDowall to the team as our Vice President of Investor Relations. McDowall brings 14 years of experience as a nonprofit executive, specializing in philanthropic fund development, corporate sponsorships, board development and management, and relationship building. In her role, she will be responsible for leading the fundraising efforts for the organization, serving as the primary contact for current Investors, maximizing Investor engagement, and developing relationships with Investor prospects.

Most recently, McDowall served as Senior Corporate Engagement Officer, Development Officer at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Foundation where she was responsible for securing philanthropic support from local and national corporations, foundations and corporate sponsors. She successfully managed a portfolio of more than 130 multi-industry prospects and donors, raising more than $2.9 million in corporate gifts and grants in support of the organization’s annual $18 million goal and overall $150 million campaign goal.  Prior to John Hopkins, McDowall was Director of Business Relations at TampaBay-Job-Links.

Passionate about building a strong community, McDowall currently serves as a board member of Habitat for Humanity Pinellas, a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber, and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Anysia holds a bachelor’s degree from Wesley College in Delaware and earned a certificate in 3-D Arts and Communications from University of Chester in the United Kingdom.
