EDC wins three Hermes Creative Awards for marketing excellence

Team EDC was thrilled to learn that three new statuettes will soon be joining the growing collection of shiny objects on our marketing department’s trophy shelf. Our website garnered a Platinum Award, while the EDC’s 2015 Annual Report and Next Generation Metro guide both nabbed Gold Awards in the 2016 Hermes Creative Awards competition.

“We’re lucky to have a top notch internal marketing team and work with incredibly talented local creative agencies like Trickey Jennus, our agency of record, Haneke Design and Studio 630 to produce stunning and award-winning electronic and print materials that showcase the best of Tampa and Hillsborough County,” said Michelle Bauer, vice president of marketing and communications. “We’re honored and excited to receive this prestigious recognition.”

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the planning, production, and designing of traditional materials as well as campaigns utilizing emerging technologies. Thousands of entries submitted by corporate marketing and communication departments, interactive agencies, and digital freelancers across the globe are evaluated for top honor worthiness each year.

The EDC launched its completely redesigned web site in June 2015, and it has been earning national and international recognition ever since. Jessica Butzier, our content production manager, managed the project and produced much of the content, and Haneke Design developed and designed the visually stunning new site.

Trickey Jennus, the Tampa agency responsible for the EDC’s powerful branding and bold creative style, designed the 2015 Annual Report. Trickey Jennus also produced the EDC’s multiple award-winning 2014 Annual Report, corporate identity package, and annual meeting ad campaigns and collateral.

Studio 630, which produces internationally acclaimed business magazine and publication designs for organizations such as Florida Trend and Ziff Davis media, designed the EDC’s “Next Generation Metro” special publication.
