Global Tampa Bay Mexico mission still accepting delegates

February 22, 2018

Delegate positions are still available for Global Tampa Bay’s upcoming mission to Mexico City, Mexico.

The multi-day mission will include a country commercial briefing by the U.S. Embassy, a reception hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico as well as Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, and plenty of other networking opportunities.
Global Tampa Bay has also arranged for a tour of Mexico City’s new airport, which is the largest public infrastructure work in a century.

While the delegate track does not include the matchmaking portion of the mission, it offers admission to all “group” mission events, as well as airport transfers in country when traveling on official mission flight and ground transportation to all official mission events.

The Tampa Bay market is a prime candidate for trade with Mexico. Mexico is currently Port Tampa Bay’s fourth largest export destination and as Florida’s eighth largest trading partner. The second largest economy in Latin America, Mexico’s large, diversified market means that products from the United States do well there.
