"Infiltrator’ now filming at 28 sites around Tampa Bay

“The Infiltrator” starring Bryan Cranston began filming Wednesday morning when director Brad Furman yelled action on the set — the Tampa shipyards on the outskirts of Ybor City.
 
Hours later, from her production office overlooking those same shipyards, Miriam Segal — founder and managing director of “The Infiltrator’s” England-based production company — said in an interview she will do more than make good on her promise to spend $1 million locally in return for a Hillsborough County incentive of $250,000.
 
The production will spend an additional $1.5 million throughout the Tampa area, Segal said.
 
And that’s not counting what the cast and crew are spending while they’re in town.
 
“Rather than asking me what we are spending money on,” Segal said, “it may be easier to ask what we are not spending money on.” Read the full story here.
