Jim Weiss
Florida Market President
Jim Weiss is Florida Market President of Citizens and leads the corporate banking business across the
state. Prior to joining Citizens, Jim most recently was Florida Regional President for Busey Bank where
he oversaw all lines of business including Commercial, Wealth and Retail Banking. He has been in the
Florida market for more than a decade serving in key roles for Fifth Third Bank where he ran the
commercial lines of business across every major metro market in Florida. Jim has long had an active
interest in economic development as shown by his certification as an Economic Developer from Saint
Louis University and the time he has spent serving on the board of directors and as Chairman of the
Tampa Bay Economic Development Corporation. He has previously served on the boards of The Florida
Aquarium, The Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, Florida Chamber, Florida Chamber Foundation and
Florida Bankers Association. Jim is a graduate of Saint Louis University
