Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corp. gets national export award

The Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation received national recognition this week for its work expanding U.S. exports.
The EDC was one of the 123 companies that received the President’s “E” Award for Export Service this week from the U.S. Commerce Department.
“The ‘E’ Awards Committee was very impressed with the organization’s work to help exporters understand the export process and enter new international markets,” said Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker in a letter to the EDC. Pritzker also applauded the EDC’s trade mission programs.
