Tampa International Airport took third place among all airports in North America in this year’s Airports Council International’s Airport Service Quality awards. Tampa’s airport was behind only Indianapolis and Ottawa. The awards are given around the world to airports that rate the best in the ACI’s passenger satisfaction survey, according to a statement.

The top two airports in the world, as ranked by the ACI, were Incheon International Airport in South Korea and Singapore Changi. Other North American airports recognized included Sacramento International Airport and Jacksonville International Airport.

“Airports that deliver superior customer service stand apart from the competition and superior customer service remains one of the most important differentiators in the increasingly competitive airport industry,” said ACI World Director Angela Gittens in the statement.
