Third Annual Real Estate Meeting to Convene April 30

The Tampa Hillsborough EDC’s 2015 Real Estate Meeting is set to take place on Thursday, April 30 from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the Florida InnoVation and Education (FIVE) Labs, a medical teaching facility located in the heart of Westshore at 4115 W. Spruce Street in Tampa.
 
This exclusive annual event for the commercial real estate community will brief attendees on important economic development trends and opportunities in Tampa and Hillsborough County. Rick Homans, EDC President & CEO, will welcome attendees and introduce Anne Adams Everett of Beaux Arts Group, who graciously sponsored this year’s meeting.
 
Following the introductions, the program will proceed with three presentations:
* Steve Morey, Director of Business Development at the EDC, will discuss recent business recruitment and retention project announcements, what’s in the pipeline, and progress on special initiatives such as the corporate headquarters recruiting effort.
 
* Dale Gordon, Executive Director of Film Tampa Bay, will talk about several buzz-worthy projects that the Film Commission has lined up for 2015 and highlight the opportunities they offer for the local real estate industry.
 
* Finally, Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik will deliver the keynote address, during which he’ll share exciting updates on Strategic Property Partners’ downtown development project.
 
Host Derek Puppello of FIVE Labs will close the program and invite guests to mingle and enjoy a drink and networking before the meeting concludes a 5:30 p.m.
 
The 2015 Real Estate Meeting is free and open to commercial real estate executives and EDC Investors.
