STUDENT NEED

COVID-19 has disrupted all of our lives, but our USF students, many of whom are far from home, have been especially impacted. Our young students are facing challenges that are unexpected and which may seem insurmountable. While USF is providing remote instruction, counseling and other support services to these students, their new financial realities are a source of significant stress and unease for many.

Urgent needs like food, toiletries, rent money and other basic essentials are beyond the reach of some of our students. We’ve heard from many that you’d like to help, and we have two meaningful ways you can do so.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

In response to the needs of USF students, President Currall has created the USF United Support Fund so Bulls Country can circle the herd and unite in assistance of our most vulnerable. Your gift, of any size, will be transformative to a young Bull struggling through an overwhelming time. Funds will be available to students on all campuses — Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee. Our students need you now more than ever. Please make a gift today.

If you’d prefer to assist in a non-monetary fashion, USF is coordinating a drive for non-perishable food items and toiletries to supplement our three campus student Food Pantries/Bulls Market. For more information on how you can help our food drive, please click here.

Your University of South Florida is appreciative of the generous Bull spirit of our alumni and friends. We are grateful for all you do to support us in good times and bad. Thank you for considering a gift to help our students in their time of need. United, not only will we survive, we will thrive.

Go Bulls!
