Westshore Alliance Launches Inaugural Westshore Worker & Resident Survey

October 11, 2017

Tampa, Fla. (October 11, 2017) – The Westshore Alliance is conducting the first district-wide Westshore worker and resident survey to gain greater insight on the perceptions, activities and demographic makeup of those who live and/or work in Westshore.

The need to conduct this inaugural survey of Westshore constituents stems from the District’s explosive growth and development, unique accessibility to Tampa International Airport, a workforce 94,000 strong, proximity to world-class shopping, entertainment and restaurants, 35+ hotels, and a residential population of 15,000 and growing. These factors cumulatively repositioned Westshore from its prior claim to fame as a premier 9-5 office district, to a thriving center of activity in the heart of the Tampa Bay region.

“Westshore has evolved to a vibrant work, live, play and stay community, making this is a great time to learn more about the District’s employees and the growing number of people who call Westshore home,” said Westshore Alliance President Jay Botsch. “We look forward to sharing results of this landmark initiative as we continue to shape future growth and foster economic prosperity of Tampa’s Westshore District.”

The survey is available at www.choosewestshore.com, and the direct link is http://conta.cc/2yzerEW. Participants can complete the survey in approximately 10 minutes and may choose to enter gift card drawings. Responses are anonymous, and no follow up will be requested. The survey will remain live through November. Reports will be published in Q1 2018.
