Bristol Myers Squibb is a global biopharmaceutical company founded in 1858. Today, our mission is to discover, develop, and deliver innovative medicines to help patients prevail over serious diseases. At Bristol Myers Squibb, we work every day to transform patients’ lives through science. We combine the agility of a biotech company with the reach and resources of an established pharmaceutical company to create a leading global biopharma company powered by talented individuals who drive scientific innovation.
Bristol Myers Squibb opened a North America Capability Center (NACC) in Tampa, Florida, in 2014 as part of our ongoing efforts to build capabilities and expertise that allow us to meet the needs of our patients more effectively and efficiently in an increasingly complex and competitive industry. The NACC is a state-of-the-art environment delivering innovation capabilities that drive significant benefits cross-divisionally at an above-market location. Having a Capability Center in Tampa provides BMS with a vibrant market to attract and develop talent, and a regional center adding unique value to our operating model. This gives BMS a strategic capability for delivering process excellence and innovative services across enabling functions. We pride ourselves on having a dynamic culture that encourages innovation and collaboration.
