James Nozar
President of Development
James T. Nozar is President of Development at KETTLER, where he directs all aspects of the firm’s development platform. With more than 20 years of experience guiding large-scale, design-driven projects, Mr. Nozar is recognized for his strategic leadership in delivering developments that enrich communities and create enduring value.
Prior to joining KETTLER, Mr. Nozar served as Chief Development Officer of Method Co. and President of Development, where he led real estate acquisitions and development for the firm’s award-winning hotels, social clubs, and restaurants across ten states. He was also the founding Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Property Partners (SPP), where he oversaw the initial phase of Water Street Tampa, one of the largest redevelopment projects in the country. Earlier in his career, he founded East+ Main, a real estate advisory firm, and held senior leadership positions at JBG Smith in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Nozar holds a Bachelor of Science in Building and Construction and a Certificate in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
