The Genspiration Foundation – the family foundation of USF President Emerita Dr. Judy Genshaft, her husband, Steve Greenbaum, and their sons Joel and Bryan – gave the Tampa Bay EDC a $200,000 gift to establish a new, results-driven internship program for USF students that will train a new generation of economic developers. We are deeply grateful for their support of our mission and thanks to them, we will have three brilliant new teammates to accelerate the positive impact our work has on Tampa and Hillsborough County.

Community Development Intern
Diego is a Senior at The University of South Florida. He is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Diego recently completed a Supply Chain Management internship with Lithionics, connecting the dots between the supply chain processes, data, and physical product.

Business Analytics Intern
Emma is a Senior at The University of South Florida. She is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems with a minor in Intelligence Studies. Emma recently completed a Business Analyst internship with AAA, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to improve file management efficiencies for their team.

Marketing and Communications Intern
Gema is a Senior at The University of South Florida. She is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Public Relations & Advertising. Gema recently completed a Brand Management internship, attending creative content planning meetings, assisting with client photoshoots, and brainstoring ideas to support marketing strategies.
