Canadian-based software company opens regional headquarters in Tampa

WellnessLiving plans to create up to 45 jobs in new Westshore district office
Tampa, Fla. (June 12, 2023) – WellnessLiving, a Toronto-based software company focused on the health and wellness industry, has announced it’s expanding to Tampa with a regional headquarters in the Westshore District. The company is leasing 4,000 square feet at Corporate Center II at 4211 W. Boy Scout Blvd.
WellnessLiving plans to build a team of up to 45 in information technology and operations roles, including software development, sales, marketing, account management and recruitment. The company is interested in developing connections with local universities to recruit new graduates.
“Many do not realize that Tampa is one of the fastest-growing tech hubs in the United States. We are excited to build a dynamic team from this highly-skilled talent pool here in Tampa,” said Don Williams, Chief Revenue Officer, WellnessLiving. “This new U.S. office will allow us to further expand our domestic customer base and better serve our existing clients.”
Business owners in the health and wellness space use WellnessLiving’s software tools to help manage and grow their business, everything from tracking sales and scheduling staff to building a loyal customer base through email marketing.
The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council has seen an uptick in foreign direct investment (FDI) projects over the last couple of years, particularly in the Financial and Professional Services and Information Technology sectors. More than 40% of the Tampa Bay EDC’s new prospects this year have been international companies with strong activity coming from the UK and Canada. WellnessLiving joins other FDI companies that have selected Tampa for U.S. operations or headquarters within the last year, including Strive Sales and Clarify.
