Company plans to create up to 30 jobs over the next couple of years
Tampa, Fla. (February 16, 2023) – Ridgeline International, a cybersecurity firm specializing in digital signature management, has expanded to Tampa with an office located in the Westshore District. The company plans to create up to 30 jobs over the next couple of years in business development and technical training instruction roles.
Headquartered in Tysons, Va., Ridgeline is leasing space in Tampa’s Westshore District at 4010 W. Boy Scout Blvd., which will include office space as well as classrooms for training services. As a government contractor, Ridgeline was attracted to Tampa because of the SOCOM presence and the large military and veteran population that resides here.
“Operating out of Tampa will afford us access to an impressive talent pool, and one that is ideal as Ridgeline continues our targeted growth into the SOCOM market,” said Ridgeline International CEO Erik Wittreich in a statement. “Further, Tampa has a thriving economy, professional associations, and a rich community that we are looking forward to integrating with further.”
Ridgeline’s Tampa office features several classrooms and secure spaces that will be used to facilitate technical training and development work related to digital signature management. This work includes the development and delivery of technology-in-operations training, technique development, technology research and development, penetration testing, and validation via exercises. Technical Trainers at Ridgeline must have a sound understanding of technology and operations within the realms of Cybersecurity, Communications, Human Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, and Electronic Warfare.
“Tampa has a long and proud history as a military-friendly business community and a best place for veterans to live,” said Mayor Jane Castor, City of Tampa. “I’m delighted to welcome Ridgeline to our community and the new job opportunities that will be created for our local residents and veterans.”
Ridgeline joins a growing list of cybersecurity and IT companies that have announced expansions in Tampa and Hillsborough County, including Atlantic Digital, Rapid7, OPSWAT and ReliaQuest.
“Tampa’s reputation as a cybersecurity hub continues to grow and attract new companies that want access to our diverse talent pool and be part of our thriving community,” said Angel Gonzalez, chair of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council and Regional President of SouthState Bank. “Ridgeline is another great addition to our technology ecosystem. We look forward to connecting them to the local resources they’ll need to find success here.”
