TAMPA, FL – Bromley Companies announced today that Tampa’s newest Class A workplace, Midtown East – an approximately 400,000 square foot office tower, will be in Midtown Tampa, the $1 billion, 23-acre mixed-use destination located at Dale Mabry Highway and I-275.

Conceived with talent at the center of every design decision, the 16-story tower is at the heart of Midtown Tampa’s mixed-use master plan. The design features covered terraces providing access to the outdoors and fresh air to the building. Midtown East, located across from the recently opened True Food Kitchen, seeks to redefine the workplace to attract world-class talent in an environment that promotes connectivity, creativity and wellness.

“The promise of Midtown Tampa has been realized,“ said Nicholas Haines, CEO, Bromley Companies. “It is no longer a vision but a place where Tampa’s best and brightest individuals and organizations have already decided to live, work, play and stay. Memories are being made, business is getting done and with the successful delivery and leasing momentum of Midtown West and The Loft, we felt the time was right to provide the next opportunity for organizations to call Midtown home. Midtown’s 23-acre benefits package is unmatched in serving Tampa’s most sought-after talent.”

“We believe that place matters, and employees, when given a place conceived and created for them, can achieve together what they cannot apart,” said Bill Haines, Chairman, Bromley Companies. “We believed twenty years ago that if we created the most exceptional place, the most exceptional individuals and organizations would come calling. Our success at Midtown West and The Loft has proven this thesis and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about providing the next workplace opportunity in Midtown.”

Midtown East will feature smart energy management systems, a heat reflective roof, floor-to-ceiling glass, high-speed destination elevators and floor plans adaptable across uses and work formats. Sustainability is a core component of Midtown East’s value proposition with LEED, Fitwel and Wired certifications being pursued. The ground level will incorporate retail and restaurant uses.

”Midtown Tampa charged us with designing a meaningful addition to Tampa’s skyline that provides a compelling and competitive edge to its occupants to return, retain and recruit the very best and brightest talent,” noted Rob Rule, Midtown East’s architect and Principal of nationally-recognized architectural firm, Rule, Joy, Trammel + Rubio. “Midtown East is the culmination of our workplace best practices and will serve as a standard-bearer for Tampa’s best address to conduct business.”

These two addresses are already home to exceptional organizations such as South State Bank, Primo Water Corporation, Randstad, LIV Development, Savills, Kforce, Compass, Gresham Smith and KAST Construction.

In addition to Midtown East, Midtown West and The Loft, Midtown Tampa is showcasing 185,000 square feet of experiential retail including unique healthy lifestyle and fitness brands, first-to-market restaurants, outdoor and recreation activities, and year-round programmed events.

Groundbreaking is slated for Q4 2022 with project delivery in Q4 2024.
