Supply chain industry leader to create up to 62 new jobs and invest more than $20 million in state–of–the art–facility scheduled to open in June
Tampa, Fla. (May 8, 2025) – NXTPoint Logistics, a leading supply chain solutions provider with services spanning distribution, warehousing and fulfillment, managed FF&E logistics, domestic and international transportation, and final mile delivery, is establishing a 193,000 square foot cutting edge logistics center in Hillsborough County and hiring up to 62 new jobs. The facility, in which NXTPoint invested more than $20,000,000, is located at 2001 Suddath Park Street and is scheduled to open in June. Job opportunities will include operations managers, supervisors, and warehouse team members.
“The opening of our new logistics center in Tampa represents more than just an expansion for our company — it’s an investment that signifies our commitment to the future of this region,” said Chad Warzecha, President of NXTPoint Logistics. “Tampa’s strong workforce, supply chain community, infrastructure, and pro-business environment made it an obvious choice for this type of investment. The facility will not only enhance our operational capabilities, but it will also contribute to local economic growth through job creation and long-term community engagement.”
The new logistics center’s warehousing space is available for occupancy by companies requiring storage, distribution and fulfillment services. Featuring 36-foot height clearance, 33 dock doors for ample loading and unloading space, and a fast-response sprinkler system, the facility complies with all industry standards and provides a high-touch logistics solution that is well suited to industries like retail and e-commerce, which require proper handling and inventory management.
“We’re very thankful to NXTPoint Logistics for choosing Hillsborough County for this expansion and for their significant investment in our community,” said Commissioner Ken Hagan of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. “Hillsborough County offers some of the best connectivity in Florida, affording NXTPoint easy access to Port Tampa Bay, Tampa International Airport, and major highways.”
The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council supported NXTPoint Logistics with a community overview, connections to CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas, and introductions to community partners and investors to help them ramp up quickly in this market.
There are more than 2,800 distribution and logistics establishments in the Tampa metro area, which employ more than 62,000 people. This industry has burgeoned over the last five years with an employment growth rate of more than 41%.
“NXTPoint Logistics is an excellent addition to Hillsborough County’s thriving distribution and logistics industry sector,” said Ron Christaldi, Chair of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council and CEO of the law and public affairs firm Shumaker. “As Tampa Bay’s population continues to grow, distribution and logistics and supply chain technology will take on an even greater role in shaping our regional economy. We look forward to supporting NXTPoint and helping them succeed in our market.”
