Here at the Tampa Bay EDC we love data. We rely on data when marketing our community and it drives many company’s relocation decisions.

More specifically, we rely on U.S. Census data for important statistics related to population growth, demographics and net migration.

The 2020 Census is underway, and this is our chance to shape the future for our families and communities as information collected in the Census informs how billions of dollars in federal funding are distributed to states and communities each year. Funding for important items such as education programs and grants, public transportation, Medicare and Medicaid, libraries, community centers, school meal programs, supplemental nutrition assistance program, and parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities.
