EDC strengthens team with several new hires

The Tampa Hillsborough EDC is powering into the home stretch of an action-packed 2017 fiscal year with new team members who’ll play important roles in helping us to fulfill our ambitious agenda.

Jonathan Wolf, who joined the Business Development team last month, will concentrate on local business retention and expansion support. As a CareerSource Tampa Bay employee, Jon will acquaint Tampa area companies with programs and dollars that are available to help them with their hiring and training needs.

The Marketing and Communications team welcomed Hussain Shamseddine as its new Digital Marketing Manager. Hussain will lead the execution of the EDC’s talent attraction initiatives and be responsible for the creation and implementation of new web and social media campaigns.

Some positive changes have been made to the Investor Relations team as well. Avril Stinson has been promoted to Investor Relations Director. Kara Bosworth has moved from our Business Development team to serve as our new Investor Relations Manager. Kara will assist with Investor recruitment and engagement activities.
