EDC Strikes Gold at ADDY Awards

March 16, 2015

We’re happy to share the news that the EDC’s marketing teamwon two Gold ADDY Awards for Collateral Material at the 2015 Tampa Bay American Advertising Awards Gala Night last month. The EDC’s 2014 Annual Report and the Stationery Package, which included letterhead, notecards, business cards, and more, picked up top honors in the category. Both entries will advance to the district competition to compete for a spot in the national American Advertising Federation awards later this year.

These award-winning marketing materials, along with many other pieces, were designed in collaboration with EDC Executive Committee-level investors Trickey Jennus. Tom Jennus, the agency’s Executive Vice President and Creative Chief, and Teresa Costa, Vice President of Strategy, have been working with the EDC’s in-house marketing team for several years to shape our message through collateral pieces such as annual reports, brochures, and other creative endeavors.

With over 5,000,000 entries every year, the ADDY Awards is the world’s largest advertising competition. Founded in Florida in 1960, it was adopted by the American Advertising Federation, a nonprofit industry association, as a national competition in 1968. The ADDY Awards is unique among industry creative competitions in that it is the only one judged on three levels: local, regional, and national. Winning an ADDY at each level qualifies the work to progress to the next, more advanced round of competition.

Thanks again to Tom, Teresa, and the entire Trickey Jennus team for the outstanding creative work they do to advance the EDC’s branding and marketing initiatives. We’re looking forward to the district competition in Orlando in May!
