Foreign-Trade Zone No. 79 Issues RFP For Website Development Agency

TAMPA, Fla. / Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) No. 79 has issued a request for proposals seeking a website development agency to redesign and host FTZ No. 79’s current website–www.tampaftz.com.  The submittal deadline for all responses to the request for proposals is Friday, February 22, 2013.

The FTZ No. 79 program is designed to help companies in and around the Tampa Bay Region increase their import/export activity by using special procedures that allow delayed or reduced duty payments on foreign merchandise, as well as other savings.

The principal objectives for the redesign of the website are to continue to build the brand identity of FTZ No. 79, to inform companies about cost minimizing benefits that can be obtained by participating in the FTZ No. 79 Program, and to ultimately improve Tampa Bay’s international footprint.
