Growing number of college grads choosing to start careers in Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay is no longer a place for brain drain, but rather brain gain as more new graduates are choosing to stay in Tampa Bay to start their careers in growing industries like IT, healthcare and financial services.

Channel 10 recently interviewed Tampa Bay EDC President and CEO Craig Richard on why recent grads are choosing Tampa Bay. The story also gets the personal perspective of  Julie Gonzalez, a South Florida native who graduated from USF and decided to stay in the Tampa Bay area to work in cybersecurity.
