Our Season of Gratitude

The fall is my favorite time of year for many reasons, one of which is because I am reminded of the many things for which I am grateful. We wrapped up our fiscal year at the end of September, and when I looked back on our organization’s accomplishments as we prepared for our Annual Meeting, I was humbled by the tremendous dedication our team has for making this community a better, more prosperous place; by how much time, talent and treasure our Investors have given; and by how much people in this community care about its future.

As someone who came here less than four years ago, I am still struck by how warmly I was embraced, how welcome my family and I felt when we arrived. Tampa is a very special place, whose people are full of warmth, hope, and energy. It’s a place where people and companies are forever finding new ways to take care of their neighbors – whether its by contributing to Feeding Tampa Bay or Metropolitan Ministries, by taking care of our first responders, or by contributing to numerous other charities and nonprofit organizations that strive to help those who are struggling lead happier lives.

I am grateful to be here in Tampa Bay, doing a job that I love with people who inspire me every day. My team and I wish you and your families a joyful season of gratitude, good health, and good fortune.
