Last week, the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation kicked off Economic Development Week by winning an award at the Florida Economic Development Council (FEDC)’s annual conference. Chief Marketing Officer Michelle Bauer and Senior Business Development Executive Bea Bare accepted the Innovation in Marketing Award for the EDC’s 2016 Annual Report in the Internal Publication category.

The EDC worked with its agency of record, Trickey Jennus, to create the award-winning piece. The 2016 Annual Report, “THRIVE,” highlighted all of the fiscal year’s accomplishments, project announcements, research initiatives, and plans for the future. “We’re honored to win the Innovation in Marketing Award from FEDC, as our state’s EDOs excel at marketing our great business climate and exceptional workforce,” said Bauer. “We’re lucky to have a wonderful community to feature and great partners to work with in Tampa and Hillsborough County.”

FEDC, a statewide organization that educates, advocates for, and connects Florida’s economic development stakeholders, honored the individuals and teams that are helping to drive Florida’s economy forward at the annual event in Ft. Lauderdale.
