Letter from Craig J. Richard, CEO & President

Dear Investor, Partners, and Friends,

As I reflect upon my first full year as CEO of this incredible organization, I am deeply grateful.

I’ve had the chance to get to know the leadership of our local government, business community, and nonprofit sector. I’ve met scores of other people who share an extraordinary love for Tampa Bay and an eagerness to do their part to make it better all the time. The commitment everyone here seems to share for making our future as bright as it can be is truly encouraging. I can assure you that this is not the case in every other community in our nation. We are very fortunate.

My heartfelt thanks to our Investors, who have given so generously of their time, resources, and skill to help the Tampa Hillsborough EDC accomplish so much this year. Our success is a direct reflection of your involvement.

As I look to 2018, I am filled with excitement and hope. This region’s star will clearly continue to rise. The achievements we’ve made this year are bringing us closer to our ultimate goal: to increase economic prosperity for every family in Tampa and Hillsborough County. We should expect nothing less of ourselves going forward.

Finally, I want to express special thanks to our 2017  Chairman, Dr. Ken Atwater, our new Chairman, Dr. Alan List for their exemplary leadership.
