Tampa Bay EDC

Finishing 2024 Strong, Ramping Up for 2025

As we bid 2024 goodbye, it’s fun to look back on the best moments of the year and say good riddance to those we’d rather not dwell on, like our least favorite guests Debby, Helene and Milton. Here at the Tampa Bay EDC, we celebrated our 15 year anniversary with our founders and Investors at our Annual Meeting last month. We’ve powered through the second year of our current three year strategic plan, Opportunity Tampa Bay II, checking off many of our deliverables and positioning us to meet our final goals next year. We’ve ‘leveled up’ to our new offices on the 20th floor of the Bank of America Building, and launched an exciting new web site with our partner Tampa General Hospital for the debut of the Tampa Medical and Research District brand. You can read all about these exciting accomplishments in our digital FY2024 Annual Report.

Guided by the leadership of our Chairman, Ron Christaldi of Shumaker, we’re going to kick off 2025 by embarking on a new strategic planning process with our Investors and stakeholders, hosting a Grand Opening celebration for our beautiful new offices, and holding our inaugural Aim for Opportunity Clay Shoot Tournament to benefit our Tampa Bay Economic Prosperity Foundation. If you’d like your company’s name on the wall of our new offices where prospects can see it, or wish to participate as a team for the tournament, please contact Alison Gelbaugh at agelbaugh@tampabayedc.com. These opportunities are getting snapped up quickly and we don’t want you to miss out!

My team and I are so very grateful to all of you for the support you give to this EDC and our community all year long. We wish you and your families a joyous, healthy and magical holiday season. Together, we’re going to make a difference in the year ahead.

Happy New Year everyone!

Craig
