The Tampa Hillsborough EDC’s M
arketing department has struck gold again – this time with a shiny new trophy from the AVA Digital Awards for our web site.
A global competition, the AVA Digital Awards recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design, and production of digital communication. Work ranges from digital engagement campaigns and website development to social media interaction and mobile marketing.
The EDC’s web site, tampabayedc.com, won a Gold Award in the Web Site: Association category.
The AVA Digital Awards is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and freelance professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
Since its launch in June 2015, tampabayedc.com has earned several top accolades from international marketing and creative awards programs such as the Davey Awards (Silver) and the MarCom Awards (Gold). The website was also ranked in the top 10% of economic development websites nationwide by Development Counsellors International (DCI).
