Cadmus Dental Lab leases 21,400 square feet at NetPark with plans to double local workforce from 50 to 100
Tampa, FL – August 29, 2024 – Cadmus Dental Lab, a fabricator of high-quality dental prosthetics, announced today an expansion in Hillsborough County with plans to double both its square footage and local workforce. The local company has leased 21,400 square feet at 5701 E Hillsborough Ave. in the NetPark business park and looks to grow from 50 employees to 100 over the next three years. Cadmus will be hiring for a variety of roles in finance, logistics, fabrication, client and customer service, field support and technical solutions.
Cadmus Dental Lab was founded by Kelly Boyd-Rivera, one of only three women worldwide who own a dental lab. Boyd-Rivera has assembled a leadership team with more than 100 years of combined dental lab experience. The company creates implants, crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, and orthodontic appliances for dental practices around the world.
“I founded the company in 2021, and we started to ramp up very quickly. We are currently experiencing 20% growth month-over-month and have outgrown our current space,” said Boyd-Rivera. “Tampa has been an incredible market to start a business with its supportive business community and a strong talent pool. We’re proud to be headquartered here, and we’re excited about our future growth opportunities.”
In addition to its business expansion, Cadmus Dental Lab will contribute to the local economy through its nonprofit arm, Cadmus Academy, which will bring visiting dentists to Tampa for training and continuing education courses.
The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council supported Cadmus Dental Lab with its expansion by providing labor market data, making connections to local business resources, and assisting with workforce training grants. Cadmus Dental Lab is the latest local company to expand in Hillsborough County, following PEI Global Partners, SurgiShop, and Cast-Crete.

Cadmus Dental Lab currently leases 11,000 square feet of space in Ybor City. The company will move into its new space in NetPark this fall. NetPark Tampa Bay is a former shopping mall turned office complex. The two-story office building spans nearly 1 million square feet. The new space Cadmus is leasing will accommodate its current growth trajectory with room to further expand in the future.
